In May 1974 after being in Germany for a month I was fortunate enough to receive a five-day "Administrative Leave" to attend a Berlin orientation tour. It started out from Frankfurt on train that traversed through Soviet controlled East Germany. I needed two things to pass through the checkpoints, my ID and "Flag Orders". Flag orders were called that because on the top of them they had the American flag and the flag of the Soviet Union. I unfortunately lost my copy and it would have been cool to have now. The pictures in this were all taken with a Kodak 110 Pocket Instamatic, so the quality is not high but it is enough. I have scanned them recently to add to Fish-House.
