This was quite a unique day trip for leaf peeping on October 5, 2002.  Sarah and I set out to visit the Bennington Museum in Bennington, VT.  There the Dear Jane Quilt was on display.  We were able to visit with what Sarah and others call the \\\"Mother Quilt\\\", also the famous Bennington Battle Flag and walk through a gallery of Grandma Moses pictures.  We later went back up the road to grave site in Shaftsbury, VT, of Jane A. Stickle the quilter of the Dear Jane Quilt.
